Been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time since it has been around for a very long time, a staple in the area. I was not disappointed with the food, service or atmosphere. The corned beef hash was very good and not salty like you find most places. If you like it, I would definitely try it if you’re there for breakfast. Our server Heather was very nice and attentive. Thank you, Heather for making my first visit a memorable one. PS: I requested sausage gravy on my scrambled eggs which was not an issue. Heather didn’t even blink an eye, so you can customize however you wish.
Always our go-to place when traveling on US 22. Best pie anywhere. Comfort food at its best!
Five stars, great service in a old school diner. Great prices and the food is fantastic. Recommend the piez any flavor.
Just have to say we were told we have to get a piece of pie from this place as we were passing through and man was it worth it. Got a whole peach pie to take out. Service was great and speedy and seemed nice inside representing an old time diner!
Dean’s is incredible. My wife and I stopped here on our way out to Pittsburgh and the food was amazing. We both had a great meal and the pie is absolutely delicious. We had a hearty dinner and dessert for 30. That is hard to find nowadays. Highly recommend Deans to everyone.
I love finding little diners like this on my adventures. We ordered breakfast, and it did not disappoint. Everything was great. French toast made with texas toast, delicious, crispy bacon just like I like it, bacon Omelet with tomato onion and cheese. Corn beef and hash nice and crispy how I ordered it. Biscuits and gravy was good as well. Everyone in the placed ordered pie either there or to go and they were running out of them quickly, so I had to order a piece to go. Banana cream was the choice since the cherry , apple, choc, peanut butter were just sold out as we waited for our food. So they must all be delicious . Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely stop again if in the area. Thank you.
This place is legendary, my grandparent would stop here on the way home after a Pirate game, 40 years later I’m stopping with my daughter. The pie here is like no other in the world.
We stopped at Dean's Diner on a trip to Pittsburgh. The food is excellent. I had the vegetable omelet with home fries. Very good and plenty to eat. We also had pie for later. We had apple and cherry. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff was very courteous. Will stop by again when I'm out that way.
